  • Resumen
    • On 1845, John L. Sullivan published on the Democratic Review an article about Texas. In this article defend and justified the dismemberment of Mexico in the name of the "manifest destiny". This sentence created by Sullivan and consecrated as the political line, resume the providencialist idea that erected American people in the elected people to extent the "area of freedom". In this case Texas served to justify that a social group settled no occupied land, organized its government and request to gather American Union. We choose five American travelers and another three Bristish, who gather the same cultural heritage and opinions about American people, economic-ethic supremacy. Pride on material progress, was a manifest sign of God's choice.
