Resumen de Flying with EGNOS the San Sebastian case

• Flight operations based on EGNOS will be possible in European airspace in 2010 once all necessary enablers are fulfilled. EGNOS will bring tangible operational benefits for civil aviation as illustrated in the flight demostrations performed in the frame of the GIANT project (GNSS introduction in the aviation sector). This project, managed by the European GNSS Supervisory Authority (GSA) with the involvement of EUROCONTROL, was launched by the European Commission (EC) in july 2005 within the 6th Framework Programme.
