Resumen de Egnos sattellite navigation service aproval for civil aviation
EGNOS (European Geostationary Navigation Overlay Service) is Europe's first venture into satellite navigation a joint project of European Space Agency (ESA), the European Commission and Eurocontrol. ESA has overall responsibility for the design, development and technical validation of the EGNOS system. Eurocontrol provides the civil aviation user requirements and is to undertake operational testing and validation for these requirements. The European Community contributes to the consolitation of the operational validation.
