Resumen de Brecha digital entre estudiantes de escuelas públicas y privadas

  Ante un mundo donde las industrias de la cibernética, telecomunicaciones, el desarrollo de las nuevas tecnologías de la información y las comunicaciones es necesario reconocer la situación de nuestro país, debido a que actualmente existe una marcada diferencia entre las personas que utilizan las nuevas tecnologías y aquellas que no tienen acceso a las mismas, esto es lo que se denomina como Brecha Digital. Esta investigación se enfocó específicamente en el municipio Mara del estado Zulia, pues a pesar de la turbulencia política y económica, cuenta con las condiciones para incorporarse exitosamente a la sociedad del conocimiento. Por tal motivo, el propósito de este estudio es evaluar el impacto de la Brecha Digital entre los estudiantes de escuelas públicas y privadas, por parte de la comunidad de dicho municipio. Esta investigación está orientada a los estudios descriptivos, de campo, siendo un diseño no experimental. La población estuvo constituida por 300 alumnos pertenecientes a ambas escuelas, considerando sólo alumnos de quinto y sexto grado de educación básica, siendo el tamaño de la muestra de 172 personas, utilizando la técnica de muestreo probabilístico. El instrumento utilizado fue un cuestionario estructurado, además de contar con una ficha de observación, la cual fue manejada por el investigador. Se aplico la validez de contenido, con las observaciones de tres expertos, además se obtuvo una confiabilidad de 0,99. Se aplicaron estadísticas descriptivas con distribución de frecuencias absoluta y porcentual, a través del programa SPSS; lo que permitió concluir: Que sí existe diferencia entre los estudiantes, pues hay desigualdad de posibilidades para acceder a la información y al conocimiento, además, evidencia una infraestructura de acceso inadecuada, pues los sectores de menos recursos no tienen acceso a estas tecnologías en el ámbito educativo. Dado esto se recomienda la expansión de las redes públicas de telecomunicaciones, y fomentar el uso de las nuevas tecnologías.

  Since a world where the industries of the cybernetics, telecommunications, the development of the new technologies of the information and the communications are necessary to recognize the situation of our country, because at the moment, a noticeable difference between the people exists who use the new technologies and those that do not have access to the same ones, this is what it is denominated like Digital Breach. This investigation focus specifically in the Mara Municipality of the Zulia State, because in spite of the political turbulence and economic, it counts on the conditions to get up itself successful to the society of the knowledge. By such reason, the intention of this study is to evaluate the impact of the Digital Breach between the students of state schools and deprived, on the part of the community of this municipality. This investigation is oriented to the descriptive studies, of field, being a nonexperimental design. The population was constituted by 300 students pertaining to both schools, having considered single students of fifth and sixth basic degree of education, being the sample size of 172 people, using the technique of probabilistic sampling. The used instrument was a structured questionnaire, besides to count on an observation card, which was handled by the investigator. I am applied the content validity, with the observations of three experts, in addition a trustworthiness of 0,99 was obtained. It was applied the descriptive statistics with absolute and percentage frequency allocation; through program SPSS, what allowed to conclude: That yes difference between the students exists, because there is inequality of possibilities to access to the information and the knowledge, in addition, it demonstrates an inadequate infrastructure of access, because the sectors of less resources they do not have access to these technologies in the educative scope. This recommends the expansion of the public networks of telecommunications, to foment the use of the new technologies.
