Resumen de Tipificación de "Teucrium polium" ("Lamiaceae")

  Se lectotipifica T. polium L., para lo cual se ha estudiado todo el material depositado en los diferentes herbarios donde se conserva material de Linneo y se ha utilizado la información bibliográfica obtenida de los sinónimos citados en protólogo. Se propone como lectótipo de T. polium L. el material enviado por Linneo a Schreber, tipo asimismo de T. teuthrion Schreber (M), con objeto de mantener y fijar definitivamente el uso tradicional de la especie. Además se comenta la mayor parte del material no linneano que ha sido posible y que con frecuencia se ha asimilado al uso tradicional de T. polium.

  A lectotypification of T. polium is proposed, based on the study of all the material deposited in the various herbaria where Linnaean specimens are held, and of the bibliographic informaron obtained from the synonyms mentioned in the protologue. The material sent by Linné to Schreber, which is also type of T. teuthrion Schreber (M), is proposed as the lectotype, in order to finally fix and conserve the traditional use of the name. Also, most of the non-Linnaean material which has been frequently associated with the traditional use of T. polium is discussed.
