    Este artículo examina los diversos cultos y ritos enmarcados en las creencias de los antiguos israelitas. Se parte de la reforma religiosa del rey de Judá, Josías (año 622 a.C.), incluyendo el impacto del Deuteronomio como obra moderadora (e incluso "modeladora") de la religión israelita. El culto a los astros, a las piedras, a las alturas, y a deidades como Baal, Astarté, Aserá y El, se estudiarán, sin dejar de lado la prostitución ritual en el Templo de Jerusalén.

    El artículo fi naliza con un examen inicial al período posterior al de la reforma religiosa: el cautiverio en Babilonia y el retorno a Judá, con su impacto en el judaísmo.

    The article reviews the different worships and rites framed into the beliefs of the ancient Israelites. We begin at the time of the religious reform of the king of Judah, Josiah (in the year 622 B.C.), including the impact of the Deuteronomy as a piece of work that moderated (and even "shaped") the Israelite religion. The worship of the stars, stones, the heights, and deities as Baal, Astarte, Asherah and El, will be studied, and so does the ritual prostitution in the Jerusalem Temple. The article fi nishes with an initial exam of the time right after the religious reform: the imprisonment in Babylon and the return to Judah, considering its impact in the Judaism.
