El trabajo Fuentes documentales, bibliotecas públicas y privadas en el Paraguay para el estudio de las dos guerras, está estructurado como una guía para los estudiantes e investigadores interesados en la historia paraguaya, pero con énfasis en la de las dos guerras que tuvo que librar el Paraguay, circunscrito en aquellos archivos, bibliotecas y colecciones privadas sitas en el territorio paraguayo. Se presentan los archivos y bibliotecas, tanto los dependientes del Estado paraguayo como los privados que tienen atención al público, así como las colecciones exclusivamente privadas o en manos de particulares. Estas fueron las más difícil de cuantificar y calificar su contenido, así como el mismo acceso. Se seleccionaron las que contienen fuentes editas y documentos quedando para un segundo trabajo las iconográficas.

The publication, Sources in Paraguay for the Study of the Two Wars, Documents, Public and Private Libraries in Paraguay, is structured as a guide for students and investigators interested in Paraguayan history, providing special emphasis on the War of the Triple Alliance and the Chaco War. The book provides details of those archives, libraries and private collections in Paraguay with material relevant to the study of the two wars. This text provides a list of state sponsored and private archives and libraries that are accessible to the public, as well as a list of collections of both institutions and individuals not open to the public. The latter of these collections were the hardest to evaluate in terms of content and are also the most difficult for the student or investigator to access. The archives and libraries selected for this text contain edited texts and documents; iconographic sources for the two wars will be outlined in a second text to be published at a later date.
