  • Changes occurring in the technological and economical fields have led to restate a series of aspects that are part of modern life. The author makes some suggestions to explain concepts such as postmodernity, globalization, postindustrial sociedy, whichdo not explain their meaning by themselves nor their relationship with the changes that television will suffer in the next years.

    Answers to inquiries such as: Will interaction habits created by Internet affect television formats? which is the repercussion of television in mass media? How is the subject's position defined towards television? What determines the credibility attitude between television and its audience? Constitute the content of this article.
