Resumen de Los límites del razonamiento: el pensamiento abductivo

En este trabajo se aborda la abducción como forma de pensamiento creativo frente a la inducción y la deducción. La abducción rescata la creatividad del pensamiento científico. La profundización lleva a identificar distintas formas de abducción sobre la base del concepto de similitud como categoría guía del razonamiento. La similitud se divide en dos: sígnico-predictiva y argumental o intelecto- proposicional, lo cual genera las distintas formas de abducción. La primera sirve para �predecir� en el mundo real y se relaciona con la teoría de la verdad como correspondencia; la segunda tiene la función de reconstruir el mundo de las representaciones y se vincula con una teoría de la coherencia acerca de la verdad y con una teoría idealista del conocimiento.

This paper tries to present abduction as creative thought form, opposite to induction and deduction. Abduction rescues the creativity of the scientific thought. The investigation leads to identifying different abduction forms on the base of the similarity concept as a reasoning category guide. Similarity splits in two: signal predictive and argumental or intellectual propositional, which generates different abduction forms. The first one serves to formulate predictions in the real world and can be related to the correspondence truth theory. The second one has the function to reconstruct the representations world and links with a coherence truth theory and with an idealistic knowledge theory.
