Resumen de Auxilio social y la educación de los pobres: del franquismo a la Democracia

En el presente artículo se explica el significado que tuvo Auxilio Social desde el franquismo hasta la democracia. Una organización oficial del régimen encargada de prestar asistencia a los necesitados y de difundir el modelo educativo imperante en España. El estudio de los departamentos de Auxilio Social nos permitirá conocer el tipo de instituciones que estableció en las diferentes etapas del franquismo, la educación que recibían los asistidos en dichas instituciones, y los cambios que experimentó esta organización, especialmente en materia de asistencia social, con la llegada de la democracia.

Next article explains the meaning that AS had from the Franco's regime until the spanish democracy. A regime's official organization in charge of giving assistance to the needy and spreading the education system prevailing in Spain those days. The study of the AS's departments will allow us to know the kind of institutions that it established in the diferents stages of the Franco's regime, the education that the assisted people were receiving in those institutions and the changes that this organization experienced, specially about social assistance subject, with the arrival of the democracy.
