Taller dedicado a la historia de las brújulas y sus principales aplicaciones en geología. Se construirá una brújula elemental. Mediremos orientaciones, direcciones y buzamientos con una brújula de geólogo. Analizaremos sobre mapas los diferentes nortes y sus relaciones. Por último se plantearán y resolverán ejercicios “sencillos” de geología estructural.

Workshop devoted to the history of the compasses and their main applications in geology. An elementary compass will be constructed. We will measure orientations, directions and dips with a geologist’s compass. We will analyze on maps the different norths and his relations. Finally there will raise and be solved “simple” exercises of structural geology.
