    Desde finais do século XX que a questão do sistema atlântico se tornou moda na Historiografia europeia e norte-americana. Sucede que esta visão é quase sempre unilateral, de acordo com a língua ou região. Por outro lado poucos valorizam o papel das ilhas besta abordagem. Partindo desta situação propomos uma nova abordagem historiagráfica que valorice as ilhas no sistema atlântico.

    Since the end of the XX century the question of the Atlantic system became a fashion in the European and North American Historiografia. It in accordance with succeeds that this vision is almost always unilateral according the language or region. On the other hand the paper of the islands is not considered. Leaving of this situation we consider a new historiography boarding the islands in the Atlantic system
