    El objetivo del presente trabajo es determinar que buscador/es de la red, es/son los más útiles y efectivos para realizar una búsqueda sobre el término «Fisioterapia».

    Se utilizó un equipo lntel Pentium de 120 MHz. con memoria de disco duro de 1 G, memoria RAM 16 y memoria caché 512 KB. El monitor es de 14 pulgadas y el teclado estándar con teclas para funciones de Windows 95. El sistema operativo es Windows 95 y el navegador utilizado es Microsoft Explorer 5.0. El método utilizado fue introducir el término Fisioterapia en los buscadores más importantes tanto españoles como extranjeros y analizar a la vista de los resultados cual de ellos se muestra más efectivo en la búsqueda del término Fisioterapia.

    Resultados: se determina que de los buscadores extranjeros «Aitavista» es el más efectivo para el término Fisioterapia, mientras que de los españoles el más efectivo es «YA.com».

    The objective of the present work is to determine which of the searcher/es of the interne! is/are more useful and effective when we carry out a search on the term «Physiotherapy».

    lt was used a 120M Hz lntel Pentium equipment with a memory of 1 G, a RAM memory of 16, a cache memory of 512 KB.A monitor of 14 inches and a standard keyboard with keys to use windows 95 functions was used too. The software is Windows 95 and the navigator is Microsoft Explorer 5.0.The method used was to introduce the term «physiotherapy>> in the most importan! searchers both Spanish and foreigners and analyse,considering all the results obtained,which of them seems more effective in the search of the term«physiotherapy».

    Results:altavista is the most effective searcher from the foreigners searchers and from the Spanish ones ya.com is the most useful one.
