  El Cabildo del Pilar de Zaragoza ejerció por donación regia, repetidamente confirmada, el señorío civil sobre Calatorao desde el siglo XIII hasta el siglo XIX. Por eso en el Archivo Capitular abunda la documentación referente a dicha Villa aragonesa. De ella se han seleccionado los documentos de los Reyes de Aragón. En ellos aparece el especial afecto de los monarcas al Santuario mariano y a su Cabildo. Se transcribe el texto original latino, precedido del correspondiente regesto en castellano y de las notas de archivo y externas. En una introducción previa se comentan algunas circunstancias de los documentos y de sus autores, no consignadas en los regestos.

  The Chapter of Our Lady of the Pillar in Zaragoza exercised with royal donation, repeatedly confirmed, the civil lordship in Calatorao from the XIII century until the XIX century. For that reason, the Capitular Archives contains a lot of documentation regards to this Aragonense Villa. We have been selected from the whole documentation about Calatorao, only the privileges of the kings of Aragon. In them, it appears the special affection from the kings to the Marian Sanctuary of the Pilar and to its Chapter. The latin original text is transcribed, preceded of the corresponding «regesto» in Spanish and of the file notes external. In a previous introduction, some circumstances about the documents and their authors are commented, not consigned in the «regestos».
