Dos grandes revoluciones del conocimiento científico han marcado la historia de la humanidad. Gracias a Nicolás Copérnico pudimos comprender nuestro lugar en el mundo físico al conocer que la Tierra no es el centro del Universo, ni siquiera del Sistema Solar. Gracias a Charles Darwin supimos cuál es nuestro lugar en el mundo biológico, en el que el ser humano tampoco es el centro de la creación sino el producto de una selección natural de las especies.

Two great revolutions of scientific knowledge have marked the history of the humanity. Thanks to Nicolaus Copernicus we could understand our place in the physical world when knowing that the Earth is not the centre of the Universe, not even the Solar System. Thanks to Charles Darwin we knew our place in the biological world, in that the human being is the centre of the creation but the product of a natural selection of the species either.
