    Algunas de las efemérides que se han celebrado, o se están celebrando todavía actualmente, tienen algo en común.

    Tomando como referencia el centenario del premio Nobel otorgado a Santiago Ramón y Cajal en 1906, otros acontecimientos vienen de inmediato a colación: las vanguardias de principios del siglo XX, la fundación de l�Institut d�Estudis Catalans (1907) o la Junta para Ampliación de Estudios (1908), constituyen algunos buenos ejemplos.

    Some of the anniversaries that have been celebrated or are still being celebrated have something in common. If we take it as a reference the centenary of the Nobel Prize awarded to Santiago Ramón y Cajal in 1906, other events come to mind immediately: the avant-garde movements of the early 20th century, the foundation of the Institut d�Estudis Catalans (1907) and the Council for the Broadening of Studies (1908) are a few good examples.
