  • The human being situates himselfor herself in the world by means of a constant process of contextnaíisation. The values of today's society are determined by the profound changes which have come about in the personal experience of human space and time. The super-acceleration in which we live, this decanonisation, has generated a "cultural malaise" which, in terms of values, is expressed in two visible mantfestatlons: fundamentalism and the "new age". While the former offers a monolithic system characterised by canonised values, the trends included in the latter tend towards a fluid understanding of values, that is, from human perspectives.
