  • The possibilities of speech and literature can be explored from the perspective of the relationship between man and beast; Giono's collection of tales centered on animal forms, "Le Bestiaire", which culminate with the "imaginary, thank goodness" "Bestiasse", are based on such an exploration, showing the relationship to be the principle of creativity.
