Calvino' s literary creation, except inasmuch as "Under the Jaguar Sun", on the five senses, lacks stories on sight and touch, seems all eye. Unless, as a re-reading of Calvino's work through the auditory prism of "A King All Ears" in that same work shows, such a perception is that of a hurried reader — who needs to take the time to hear Calvino's eye as a listening one.
