Resumen de La Educación Ambiental y la Ecología como ciencia: una discusión necesaria para la enseñanza

  Este trabajo presenta una caracterización de la Ecología como disciplina científica para ubicarla luego, dentro del ámbito educativo, en el currículum formal de Argentina. Se realiza una revisión y se aportan resultados de investigaciones propias sobre las concepciones alternativas que tienen los alumnos sobre algunos temas estructurantes de la semántica de la Ecología.

  Tras una reflexión teórica sostenemos que esta ciencia debe actuar como vigilante epistemológico de la mayoría de los contenidos que se trabajan bajo el enfoque de Educación Ambiental para no caer en un reduccionismo conceptual y curricular basado en la mera discusión que entablan docente y alumnos sólo desde sus referentes cotidianos.

  This work presents a characterization of the Ecology like scientific discipline in order to be located then, within the educational environment, in the formal curriculum from Argentina. A revision and a contribution of outputs of own investigations on the alternative conceptions that the students have on some structurant themes of the semantics of the Ecology are carried out. After a theoretical reflection we assert that this science should act as an epistemological vigilant of the majority of the contents that is worked under the focus of Environmental Education in order to do not fall in a conceptual and curricular reductionism based on mere discussions among the teachers and the students only from their intuitive knowledge.
