    En el presente artículo el plan de trabajo se desarrolla de la siguiente manera:

    como primer punto se analizan y discuten una serie de pasajes que permiten la aproximación a la noción de ética o moral en Simón Rodríguez, su relación con nociones como voluntad, libre arbitrio, libertad, razón y naturaleza. En segundo lugar se estudian los conceptos de hábito y costumbre y se elucida el lugar que ocupan en la conformación ética del individuo y de la sociedad, su importancia en la política y específicamente en el modelo republicano de Rodríguez. El tercer punto aborda el estudio de la cuestión de la virtud y las virtudes sociales. Se busca aquí precisar la noción de virtud y su relación con lo político y lo social. Finalmente se cierra el trabajo con un punto harto relevante en la filosofía política y social rodrigueana, a saber: la relación teórica entre ética y educación que se refleja en el plano de lo político y en lo que ha llamado el propio filósofo �las luces y las virtudes sociales.�

    The present work is developed such as the following way: in first place, we analyze and discuss a series of passages that allow the approximation to the notion of ethics or morality in Simón Rodríguez, and its relationship with notions as will, free arbitrament, freedom, reason and nature. Secondly, we study the concepts of habit and custom and we elucidate the place they occupy in every mankind ethical conformation or social ethical conformation, theirs importance in the politics and specifically in the republican Rodríguez sample. The third point approaches us to the study of what the virtue and the social virtues are, and theirs relationship with the political and the social notion. Finally the work is closed with a fed up relevant point in the Rodriguez political and social philosophy, namely: the theoretical relationship between ethics and education, reflected on the political thing and called by Rodriguez �the lights and the social virtues."
