  • Resumen
    • For a systematic analysis of translations, the first is to establish valid and verifiable descriptions of how and to what degree a translation differs from its source-text -distinctions would have to be made between shifts on the various linguistic levels, such as the syntactic, semantic, stylistic and pragmatic- and the second, which is a logical consequence of the first, is to use this description as a basis for the formulation of hypotheses concerning the translator's interpretation of the original text and the strategy adopted during the process of translation.
