A new species of Pseudoscorpion belonging to the family Neobisiidae is described: Roncus (Parablothrus) setosus. Easily distinguishable of any other species of the genus by the extraordinary number of setae on the carapace and tergites, representing another case of "neochétotaxie majorante prosomatique" J. HEURTAULT 1980, this being confirmed by the chaetotaxy found in tritonymph and deutonymph.
