  • Resumen
    • The carbonate Crevillente aquifer has been intensively exploited since more of four decades. Consequently, the aquifer has suffered an important empty which has made a lost of quality water in some areas of the aquifer. With the purpose of knowing the water quality in the present saturated zone we have made a geophysical well logging campaign. The electrical conductivity and temperature of the groundwater have been measured in some boreholes. The results have allowed us to establish that the SE area of the aquifer, where the desaturation has been more important, presents the big salinization problems and where water mineralization rises with the depth. The other historic pumping areas show better water quality and it is not possible to identify an increasing of water salinity along the saturated zone
