  An analysis of the impact that the Ley De Responsabilidades Políticas (Political Responsibilities Act) had in the Balearic Islands. The author studies its systems of application and the trials it involved, as well as offering an exhaustive analysis of sentences passed by the Law Courts. He also offers an insight into the distribution of the trials geographically, professionally, politically and by marital status. The study concludes with a series of anecdotes.
