  The present study it investigates the understanding of the professors of physical education concerning the thematic inclusion and integration of special children with necessities in the regular physical education of the school. The study he is qualitative and it uses interviews with definite guidelines. The collection of information allowed to detach the following categories: understanding of the professors of physical education on the phenomenon inclusion/integration; formation and ability of the professors; conditions and physical structure of the schools for the inclusion. The study it evidenced fragilities in investigated relation to the thematic one, aspect that requests continuum qualification in the area, from studies.

  O presente estudo investiga o fenômeno da inclusão na educação física regular, mais especificamente, a compreensão dos professores de educação física acerca da temática inclusão e integração de crianças com necessidades especiais na educação física regular da escola. O estudo é qualitativo e utiliza entrevistas semi-estruturadas com pautas definidas. A coleta de informações permitiu destacar as seguintes categorias: compreensão dos professores de educação física sobre o fenômeno inclusão/integração; formação e competência dos professores; condições e estrutura física das escolas para a inclusão. O estudo evidenciou fragilidades de compreensão em relação à temática investigada, bem como dificuldades de ordem formativa dos professores, aspecto que requisita contínua qualificação na área, a partir de estudos coletivos nas escolas.
