Un enfoque más amplio en la enseñanza del eslovaco

    La enseñanza de los idiomas es un proceso complejo en el que intervienen no solamente factores lingúísticos (básicamente centrados en �qué� y �cómo� enseñar), sino también extralinguísticos. La importancia de estos factores extralingüísticos se ve en un caso concreto de la enseñanza del eslovaco en la Universidad ELTE en Budapest. Entre los factores extralingüísticos se incluye la necesidad dc conocer la estructura del grupo, es decir, qué tipo de estudiantes viene a estudiar eslovaco a Budapest (si vienen de Eslovaquia o Hungría, de un ambiente social o familiar monolingüe o bilingüe, etc.), sus contactos anteriores con eslovaco y húngaro, la... (Leer más) motivación de estudiar eslovaco en Budapest, su actitud hacia el estudio y los objetivos. Conocer estos factores ayuda al profesor a preparar mejor las clases, explicar/razonar la menor motivación y/o fluidez de algunos estudiantes y también los errores que cometen y finalmente le ayuda a aumentar su interés por el estudio del eslovaco. Esto también influirá en las partes del proceso de la enseñanza "qué" y "cómo� enseñar.

    The aim of the study is to stress not only the role and importance of so-called linguistie factors (basically focusing on �what� and �how� to teach) at teaching languages in general (and in particular at Slovak at ELTEUniversity in Budapest) but also that of the extra-linguistie factors. These extra-linguistie factors include the necessity for the teacher to know the structure of the study group i.e. what students come to study Slovak to Budapest (whether they come from Slovakia or Hungary, from monolingual or bilingual family or/and social ervíronment etc.), their previous contact with Slovak and Hungarian languages, motivation to study Slovak... (Leer más) in Budapest, attitude towards the study as well as their goal of study. Knowledge of these factors enables the teacher to better plan and prepare the classes, explain (lower) motivation and/or fluency of some students as well as the types of mistake made by them and last but not least to mercase their interest for the study of Slovak language. Eventually, it also influences the �what� and �how� to teach arcas of the educational process.
