    La ambigüedad de los términos ‘racismo’ y ‘antirracismo’ y las realidades cambiantes que designan, llevan al autor de este ensayo a explorar, de la mano del filósofo francés P.-A. Taguieff, actitudes, supuestos ideológicos y prácticas de tan preocupante lucha. El autor propone una tipificación doble de estos vocablos que, como toda clasificación, evoluciona a lo largo de la historia hasta situarnos en la Francia de hoy, que vive la tensión entre el reconocimiento de las culturas a partir de valores universales como los Derechos Humanos y, a la vez, la reivindicación de un derecho a la diferencia que impediría pronunciar un juicio valorativo sobre cada una de ellas.

    The ambiguity of terms ‘racism’ and ‘anti-racism’ and the ever changing realities they refer to, lead the author of this essay to explore, hand in hand, with the French philosopher P.-A. Taguieff, some attitudes, ideological presuppositions, and practices involved in this worrying struggle. The author suggests a double classification of these words, which, as every categorization, evolves throughout history up to the France of these days, where a tension between several cultures acknowledgment by universal values such as Human Rights, and claims for a right to the difference, at the same time, would prevent to pronounce a judgment of value about immensurable cultures.
