Exequias en Pamplona del magisterio republicano: los orígenes del sistema educativo franquista (II)

    En la primera parte de este artículo �Huarte de San Juan. Geografía e Historia, nº 13, 2006, pp. 311-338� pusimos de manifiesto que la convocatoria del Curso de Orientaciones Nacionales de la Enseñanza Primaria fue una iniciativa de carácter militar que el general Orgaz propuso al ministro Sáinz Rodríguez para ser desarrollada de forma conjunta con el objetivo de trasladar en estado puro a las escuelas la esencia ideológica que animaba el espíritu del alzamiento militar del 18 de julio de 1936. Bajo esta perspectiva analizamos el papel de la Junta de Educación de Navarra y su marginación sistemática en la organización de este evento desarrollado en Pamplona del 1 al 30 de junio de 1938. La segunda parte, centrada fundamentalmente en temas curriculares del programa impartido en el Curso, analiza el reparto de competencias entre organizadores civiles y militares en esta materia, poniendo de manifiesto dos cuestiones fundamentales. La primera de ellas, que la propuesta inicial de un currículo �fascistizado� desembocó en uno de corte netamente fascista y, la segunda, que el artífice de esta iniciativa tuvo depositadas en su proyecto auténticas perspectivas de futuro y continuidad.

    In the first part of this article �Huarte de San Juan, nº 13, 2006, pp. 3311-338� we showed that the call of the National Orientation Course in Primary Education was an initiative of a military nature that General Orgaz proposed to Minister Sainz Rodriguez to be co-developed with the aim of moving the raw ideological essence of the spirit behind the military uprising of July 18th, 1936 to the schools. From this perspective we look at the role of the Board of Education of Navarre and its systematic marginalization in the organization of this event developed in Pamplona from 1st to 30th June, 1938. The second part, focusing mainly on curricular issues of the program taught in the course, analyses the division of responsibilities between military and civilian organizers in this matter, showing two key issues. The first, the original proposal of a curriculum �fascistized� led to a sharply fascist one and, second, that the architect of this initiative deposited in his proposal real prospects for the future and continuity.
