Resumen de Andricus clementinus (Giraud, 1859) a valid species: redescription, with taxonomic and biological notes (Hymenoptera, Cynipidae, Cynipini)

Juli Pujade Villar, G. Melika

  • The Andricus non ¿Adleria¿ species-group comprises 31 species in the Western Palaeartic, with asexual forms and heterogonic life-cycles. Morphologically, they are characterized with glabrous metasoma which is pubescent laterally (only metasomal tergite II with broad band of pubescence). After the examination of types of Andricus clementinus (Giraud, 1859), we affirmed that this is a valid species. The redescription of adults and galls, diagnosis, biology and taxonomic comments on this species are given.
