    Este artículo examina la relación entre algunas variables del entorno y el comportamiento innovador de la empresa. Con esta finalidad hemos planteado un modelo que se ha sometido a contrastación empírica en empresas que pertenecen al sector de las Rocas Ornamentales o Piedra Natural en turbulencia del mercado y el crecimiento del mercado son claros predictores del constructo comportamiento innovador, pero se rechaza la existencia de una influencia positiva de la variable turbulencia tecnológica en dicho constructo.

    This article examines the relation between both sorne variables of the background and the innovating behavior of the organization. With this purpose we have raised a model that has been put under empirical contrast in companies from the Spanish region of Extremadura that belong to the industrial sector of Ornamental Natural Stone. The results of our analysis show that the turbulence of the market and the growth of the market are clear predictive of constructo innovating behavior, but a positive influence of the variable technological turbulence is rejected in such a constructo
