Sobre monstruos, cine y cuentos de hadas: intertextualidad e infancia

    A partir de la película Monsters S/A, el presente artículo utiliza la figura de los monstruos para discutir algunas ideas referentes a los monstruos y la infancia. De este modo, a partir de autores como Foucault, Deleuze y Guattari, se pretende explorar en qué medida una construcción sobre la infancia permite ser, pensar y sentir de otras formas. La elección del cine como uno de los ejes de esta discusión se da a partir de la comprensión que este proporciona tanto en el modo de conocer la infancia, como en la expresión del mundo desde la perspectiva infantil, posibilitando pensar lo nuevo. Al hablar de monstruos, deben recordarse los cuentos de hadas, los cuales han sido asociados sistemáticamente a la infancia, constituyéndose en una parte significativa de la literatura infantil y también una fuente de inspiración para gran parte de las películas infantiles.

    About monsters, movies and fairy tales: intertextuality and infancy.. Starting from the film Monsters S/A, the present article uses the monsters illustration to discuss some ideas regarding to monsters and childhood. In this way, based on authors like Foucault, Deleuze and Guattari, it is aimed to explore in what extent a composition about the infancy can allow to be, to think and to feel in other ways. The choice of the movies as one of the axes of this discussion rises from the understanding that it propitiates a way of knowing the infancy as well as the expression of the world through the infantile perspective, making possible to think the new. When talking about monsters, we should remember the fairy tales, which have been associated systematically to the infancy, being a significant portion of the infantile literature and also an inspiration source for great number of infantile films.
