  • Resumen
    • In this article we study a Spanish poetic movement, "Postismo", on which there are very few studies. Postismo evolved during the years inmediately following the Spanish Civil War. In this paper we underline the fact that Postismo was the first serious attempt at creating a vanguardist school in post-war Spain and, in second place, we value Postismo as an attempt at Surrealism which didn't, however, go beyond being pure effectism, with a content that was strongly biased by the current social and political atmosphere of post-war Spain, influenced by the intervention of censorship. In third place, we support the thesis that sees vanguard movements as "regressive", in spite of appearances: Garcilasism, the cult to Gongora by the 1927 poets, Surrealism in the Postistas, etc.
