El tema de las emociones y de los sentimientos ha sido tratado a lo largo de la historia de la humanidad a través de diferentes perspectivas científicas, culturales y personales. Sin embargo, aun siendo un tema tan relevante, lamentablemente no ha sido analizado y estudiado teóricamente en el campo del saber pedagógico-educativo en sus diferentes ámbitos de intervención: formal y no formal hasta hace aproximadamente dos décadas. La necesidad e importancia del estudio teórico-científico de las emociones y su repercusión en la intervención/acción educativa, constituye el objetivo prioritario del artículo que presentamos.

The subject of the emotions and the feelings have been treated along the history of the humanity through different perspectives, scientific, cultural and personal. In spite of, the pity is that a subject been so outstanding wasn't been theoretically analyzed and studied in the sphere of Pedagogical and Educational knowledge in his different fields of intervention: formal and non formal, as late as aproximatelly two decades. The need and importance of the scientific study of the emotions and its repercussions in the educational intervention, constitutes the priority aim of the article we present.
