    El presente trabajo quiere dar a conocer un manuscrito sobre guitarra de la Biblioteca Nacional (Madrid). El ponerlo en conocimiento implica hablar de los avatares y de la suerte que ha corrido este manuscrito, describirlo físicamente, recuperar la figura del polifacético autor y estudiar el contenido de la obra que está estructurado en dos partes bien diferenciadas, por un lado, el método de armonía y composición propiamente dicho y por otro, la valiosa información que ofrece sobre la historia de la guitarra y los guitarristas del siglo XIX, que ya conocíamos casi en su totalidad —a través de Mariano Soriano Fuertes— pero no a su verdadero autor. El texto de Félix Ponzoa ofrece una doble imagen: como documento, fruto de un momento histórico, y como reflexión coetánea de ese mismo momento.

    In this article we would like to present the discovery of a guitar manuscript from the Biblioteca Nacional (Madrid). In order to do it, we shall talk about the vicissitudes this work has suffered through history, describing it physically, recovering the figure of its versatile author and studying its content. This manuscript is structured in two well-differentiated parts: in one part, the harmony and composition method is presented. In the other part, valuable information is provided about the history of XIX century guitar and guitarists. The latter part is almost totally known trough Mariano Soriano Fuertes, though the identity of the author was kept secret. The work of the actual author, Félix Ponzoa, offers a double image: as a document, it is the result of a historical period, on the other hand, it is a contemporary reflection on the same period.
