Damos a conocer los avances de investigaciones abordadas en el sitio Incahuasi (quebrada de Incamayo, provincia de Salta). Dicho asentamiento fue dado a conocer a principios del siglo XX y fue estudiado parcialmente por diferentes investigadores.
La obtención del plano general de sitio y algunas observaciones realizadas a partir del relevamiento de su arquitectura posibilitaron confirmar la preexistencia del asentamiento durante períodos preincas y su posible función al interior del sistema de sitios del Período Inca. Hasta el momento Incahuasi representa el sitio de mayor envergadura constructiva en la región, con edificaciones de carácter administrativo y localizado en un lugar estratégico en el paisaje social de los incas.

We released the new advancements in the research taken place in the Incahuasi area (gorge of Incamayo in the province of Salta). This settlement, discovered in the early 20th century, was partially studied by different researchers.
The possibility of having the general plan of the place along with some observations of the local architecture allowed us to confirm the pre-existence of the settlement during pre-inca periods and its possible use in the interior of the system of sites of the Inca Period.
Up to now, Incahuasi is the place with the biggest constructed area in the region with buildings for administrative purpose which are placed in a strategic place of the social landscape of the Incas.
