Resumen de Elecciones, representación y principio del consentimiento y legitimidad en la formación del Estado provincial salteño, 1821-1823

  A través del análisis de actas capitulares, fuentes legislativas y actas electorales, nuestro equipo de investigación, con el aporte de los estudios sobre el lenguaje político y elecciones en el Río de la Plata durante el siglo XIX, intentará demostrar cómo entre 1821 (sanción de las reglas �constitucionales�) y 1823 (sanción del reglamento electoral y primeras elecciones de representantes a la Junta Provincial) la representación política surgió de un universo de discursos y prácticas que superponían las antiguas tradiciones con los discursos y prácticas modernas. En ese contexto �en nuestro criterio- se fundó un particular registro de actitudes y conceptos, dentro del cual deben analizarse el papel de las elecciones y la reformulación de sentido del antiguo concepto de consentimiento y legitimidad.

  Through an analysis of records chapter, legislative sources and tally sheets, our research team, with input from studies on language and political elections in the River Plate during the nineteenth century, it will attempt to demonstrate how between 1821 (sanction the rules "constitutional") and 1823 (punishment of election rules and first election of representatives to the Provincial Board), political representation emerged from a universe of discourse and practices that overlapped the old traditions, with speeches and modern practices. In this context, in our view - was founded by an individual record of attitudes and concepts, which must be analyzed within the role of elections and the reformulation of sense of the old concept of consent and legitimacy.
