    En este texto se comparan dos de las corrientes filosóficas del siglo XX que más han destacado en el estudio del cuerpo humano. En la fenomenología, Merleau-Ponty, y en la biopolítica, Michel Foucault, abordan de manera muy distinta el cuerpo, siendo objeto de cuestión en ambas posiciones la consideración del cuerpo como objeto y las consecuencias que se derivan de tales enfoques para un estudio del cuerpo en el presente.

    In this text two of the philosophical currents of the century XX are compared about the study of the human body.

    In the phenomenology account is Merleau-Ponty, and in the biopolitic theory is Michel Foucault. They have a very different concept about the human body, being object from cuestion in both positions the consideration of the body like an object and the consequences that are derived from such approaches for a study of the body in the present.
