Resumen de Mujeres inmigrantes en la ciudad de Madrid: algunos aspectos sobre su inserción laboral, conciliación familiar y salud

  En este artículo se analizan las características sociodemográficas, laborales y de salud de las mujeres inmigrantes en la Ciudad de Madrid. Además de la descripción de este colectivo a partir de las fuentes de datos existentes, se realiza una encuesta que proporciona otro tipo de información de interés geográfico y que no siempre las fuentes oficiales ofrecen. El foco de interés son las principales ocupaciones que estas mujeres encuentran en Madrid, las carencias que tienen para conciliar el cuidado de los hijos con el trabajo, así como los problemas de salud más recurrentes.

  In this article we study social and demographic characteristics of the immigrant women in the Town of Madrid. In addition to the description of this group through the sources of existing data, a survey is made that provides another type of information of geographic interest and that not always the official sources offer. The interest centre is the main occupations that these women find in Madrid, the problems to conciliate the care of the children with the work, as well as the more recurrent problems of health
