    El análisis dramatúrgico de La Destruición de Numancia remite al paradigma característico de la tragedia greco-romana. Nuestro objetivo se define por la intención de desentrañar la concatenación de su formato y por la necesidad de desvelar la motivación cervantina más específica: la sublimación de la libertad trágica del individuo en un contexto de asedio extremo, motivo que aquí aplicamos a la valoración de acontecimientos actuales.

    The dramatical analysis of The Destruction of Numancia refers to the characteristic paradigm of the Greek-Roman tragedy. Our object is defined by the idea of unravelling the linking of its format and by the necessity of being vigilant to the more specific Cervantine motivation: The sublimation of the tragic liberty of an individual in a context of extreme siege, the reason that we are applying here and the appraisal of current events.
