• La Oficina de Ciencia y Tecnología (OCYT) es, cronológicamente, la antesala del actual Ministerio de Ciencia y Tecnología. Su breve existencia, apenas dos años, supone también el punto de engancheunión entre la estructura diseñada en los años ochenta y la entrada al nuevo milenio. Es en ese breve espacio temporalperíodo, señalan los autores, que cuando trata de dinamizarse un sistema estancado desde hace un tiempo y se empiezan a diseñar opciones que formarán parte de la etapa posterior. = The Oficina de Ciencia y Tecnología (OCYT, Science and Technology Office) is chronologically the beginning of the current Department of Science and Technology (Ministerio de Ciencia y Tecnología). Its short existence, slightly over 2 years, has witnessed the merging that has taken place between the structures originally developed in the 80s and the beginning of the new millennium. The authors state that during this short period of time, this institution has aimed at energizing a system that has been inactive for a long period and is beginning to design opportunities that should help configure new future phases.
