    Este texto, escrito como Lectio Inauguralis, intenta mostrar los aportes que las investigaciones realizadas sobre la relación entre oralidad y escritura pueden ofrecer a tres cuestiones cruciales para la filosofía: 1) El problema de la relación entre poesía y filosofía, tal como se manifiesta en la definición de arte que Platón hizo canónica en Occidente; 2) la cuestión del origen de la filosofía y 3) la pregunta por la filosofía como género literario.

    This paper, which was read as a Lectio Inauguralis, intends to point out the contributions the research on orality and literacy can offer to three main problems in philosophy: 1) The problem that deals with the quarrel between philosophy and poetry as as it appears in Plato' definiton of art, for centuries the western canon; 2) the question regarding the origins of philosophy and 3) the question concerning philosophy as a literary genre.
