La nueva edición revisada del antiguo Dictionnaire Latin-Français de F. Gaffiot, llevada a cabo bajo la dirección de P. Flobert, supone una notable mejora debida no sólo a la mayor claridad de la tipografía utilizada, sino también a la inclusión de muchos significados tomados principalmente del latín cristiano y tardío. Junto a esto, no son de menor interés los « Annexa» incluidos al final del diccionario, particularmente los mapas en color, que tienen una calidad notable.

The new revised edition of the old Dictionnaire Latin- Français by F. Gaffiot carried out under the management of P. Flobert means a remarkable improvement due not only to the increased clearness of the typography thas been wed, but also to the inclusion of many meanings mainly taken from Late and Christian Latin. In addition, not of less interest are the «Annexa» at the end of the dictionary, particularly the colour maps, which have an outstanding quality.
