    • WebQuests are an alternative to text-based instruction, in which some or all of the information the learners interact with comes from resources on the Internet. An innovative learning tool, WebQuests provide an original and unique product for assessing student learning out comes in the classroom. Active learning, collaboration, problem solving, situational learning, critical thinking and scaffold learning are just some of the educational strategies that form a WebQuest. This arti cle explains how this toot can be effectively applied to hospitality education.
