Resumen de Induçao de anestro em novilhas confinadas: desempenho, conversao alimentar e digestibilidade

  The effect of chirurgic or mechanic anestral induction was evaluated in 19 crossed heifers finished in fedlot. There were three treatments: seven non pregnant heifers; seven with lead spheres in the fallopian tube and five ovariec-tomized. There were not differences for mean daily weight gain, carcass yield and dry matter intake (or related to 100 kg live weight) and feed conversion (mean values: 0,9 kg/day; 54,5 percent; 8,2 kg/day; 2,1 percent e 9,7 kgDM/kg respectively). The apparent digestibility was not different. Oestrus occurrence do not affected to analyzed variables

  Avaliou-se a influência da indução do anestro cirúrgico ou mecânico em 19 novilhas mestiças terminadas em confinamento distribuídas em três tratamentos: 7 novilhas vazias; 7 com 100 esferas de chumbo no corno uterino e 5 ovariecto-mizadas. Não houve diferença para ganho médio diário, rendimento de carcaça, consumo de matéria seca e em relação a 100 kg de peso vivo e conversão alimentar, cujos valores médios foram 0,9 kg/dia; 54,5 p.100; 8,2 kg/dia; 2,1 p.100 e 9,7 kgMS/kg de ganho, respectivamente. A digestibilidade aparente não diferiu. A ocorrência ou não do estro não influenciou as variáveis analisadas
