    La poesia de la segona meitat del segle XX insisteix a formular figuracions literàries del tema de la maternitat a partir del moment que el desenvolupament de les ciències socials o humanes ha posat de manifest que aquesta és una representació o conjunt de representacions produïdes per la cultura. El present treball suposa una aproximació a la "construcció i reconstrucció de mares" en l'obra de les poetesses Anne Sexton, Maria-Mercè Marçal i Anise Koltz des d'una directriu bàsica: acostar-nos a l'etopeia de les mares de les autores en la mesura que apareixen com a figures reconstruïdes en els poemaris. Per tant, el que ens proposem és fer una anàlisi dels mecanismes que regulen la construcció discursiva del concepte de maternitat a través de les seves representacions en l'obra d'aquestes tres poetesses contemporànies.

    The poetry of the second half of the 20th century insists to formulate literary figurations of the subject of the motherhood from the moment that the development of the social or human sciences has brought to light that this is a representation or set of representations produced by the culture. The present work supposes an approach to the "construction or reconstruction of mothers" in the work of Anne Sexton, Maria-Mercè Marçal and Anise Koltz from a basic guideline: approaching the mothers of the authors' psychological description as figures reconstructed in the poems. Therefore, what we propose is to make an analysis of the mechanisms that regulate the discursive construction of the concept of motherhood through its representations in the work of these three contemporary authors.
