Resumen de La dona de Lot: de la Bíblia al tòpic literari

Aquest treball tracta de l'anàlisi d'una temàtica o motiu: uns versicles bíblics que parlen de la transformació d'una dona, l'esposa de Lot, en columna de sal. En la primera part del treball s'analitza la significació i l'origen del motiu descrit. Tot seguit s'observa l'abundant presència d'aquest fenomen temàtic a diferents textos, principalment del gènere poètic d'autors del segle XX. Plantejarem, en la segona part, una descripció de les diverses perspectives adoptades reflectides en els textos literaris. S'adopta, doncs, una perspectiva tematològica i comparatista.

This essay is the analysis of a theme or motif: the biblical verses which refer to a woman's transformation, Lot's wife, into a salt column. The meaning and the origin of this motif is analyzed in the first part of the essay, followed by the observation about the huge presence of it in many different works, especially in the poetry of 20th century. The second part is a description of the diverse perspectives reflected in this literary texts. A thematic and comparative perspective is adopted for this study.
