El presente artículo analiza las diferentes fases del dilatado debate que, en el marco de la literatura polaca, enfrenta a los partidarios del Clasicismo y del Romanticismo en las primeras décadas del siglo XIX. El trabajo incide en la importancia del papel desempeñado por el poeta Adam Mickiewicz en el triunfo y consolidación del movimiento romántico en Polonia.

The present article analyzes the different phases of the expanded debate that in the first decades of 19th century brings the supporters of the Classicism face to face with the followers of Romanticism within the framework of the Polish literature. This paper stresses the importance of the role played by the poet Adam Mickiewicz in the triumph and consolidation of the Romantic Movement in Poland.
