La importància de la societat civil: fonamentació i expectatives

    La voluntat deis autors, en aquest article, és determinar amb precisió les bases a partir de les quals la societat civil pugui exercir importants funcions clins la nostra societat, d'acord amb el paper que habitualment se li suposa, per a assolir un sistema democràtic més ferm. Seguint aquest camí, en primer Hoc es descriu què és i qui forma part d'aquesta societat civil, tenint en compte que es tracta d'un concepte sovint utilitzat amb poc rigor, canviant en el temps i per al qual existeix un important huit normatiu. Un cop fet això, el text busca recuperar els fonaments, tot allunyant-se de versions febles, de les quals es fa un ús sovint demagogic i atenent la funció legitimadora que sovint té en l'àmbit politic: els mateixos autors reconeixen que la societat civil és una gran font de legitimitat per a les propostes que arriben deis estaments politics.

    In this article, the authors seek to precisely determine the bases from which civil society can exercise important functions in our society, according to what is normally assumed for it to achieve a more solid democratic system. Following this path, first we are given a definition of what civil society is and who is part of it, taking into account the fact that this concept has often been used with little rigour, changing over time, and regarding which there is a major regulatory loophole. Having done this, the text seeks to recover the foundations, moving away from the feebly versions often used demagogically, in view of the function of providing legitimacy it often has in the political sphere: the authors themselves acknowledge that civil society can be a major source of legitimacy for proposals that come from the political echelons.
