    En las últimas décadas empresas industriales multinacionales se han trasladado a otros países en búsqueda de ventajas competitivas. Actualmente este proceso de deslocalización (offshoring) parece estar surgiendo en las actividades de servicios, favorecido, entre otras causas, por la aparición de las nuevas tecnologías de la información. Sin embargo, el carácter novedoso de este fenómeno en este sector así como la escasez de información cuantitativa hacen difícil evaluar la envergadura del mismo, lo cual constituye el objetivo de este trabajo. En este contexto se tratará de dar un paso más en el conocimiento de la deslocalización de los servicios a nivel mundial. Para ello, tras una introducción, se abordará el concepto de deslocalización y las diversas vías a través de las cuales se lleva a cabo. En la sección tercera se expondrán las diferentes formas de medir la misma y en la siguiente se tratará de cuantificar su alcance de acuerdo con algunas de las investigaciones realizadas

    Over the last decades, multinational industrial companies have moved to other countries seeking competitive advantage. Recently, this process of offshoring seems to have increased; this has largely been caused by, among other things, new Information Technology. However, recent developments in this sector and the scarcity of cuantitative information have caused problems in evaluating the magnitude, which constitutes the goal of this project. In this context, we will try to further out knowledge of offshoring services at a global level. To achieve this, we will analyze the offshoring concept and the different methods. In the third section, we will explain the diverse means of measurement and then try to quantify their magnitude in accordance with some researches carried out
